Tyreek you're ABSOLUTELY right, our culture is messed up in the since that you think just because a genre of music is classified as "culture" that makes it not monden.

Well, ok Rasinn is true culture, RAM, KOUBMAN EKSPERYANS, KOUDJAY they're pure cultural groups. Because if you've been following the Haitian History- our history, you'd know that we won our independance through ginen-that's real culture.

Now, my point is should I love, and praise God with/through rasinn music? because if i apply your logic then, it would be ok, now wouldn't it?

BTW: RAM wrote a song many years back and the lyrics to that song were as followed: "papa bondye woooo, sen nikola heyyyy, yon sel pitit gason'm nan wooo, yo fe'l kite payi ya lale". I hear "papa Bondye" in the song, does that make Christian music and worth dancing to? hmmmm

You guys are so lost. You come here with a single mind set which is holding you from understanding what people are saying.

I said that "if a beat has God's word in it it's gospel." You should know what gospel music is if not it's time for you to find out because you don't want te get left behind. It's up to you to say that those word by Ram are of God or satan. Don't forget what God's word is. Let me help you because I want you to understand. God's word is the gospel itself. The music is the messenger that carries God's word. You can criticize the music. You can judge it. You can condemed. You can trash it. It's just like you would do to His prophets. In any case, the answer to your question is a very simple one. As you seem to be wanting a blunt, straightfoward wording therefore, my answer is this:

My music should and will always be influenced by Romans 12: 2- "DO NOT BE CONFORMED TO THIS WORLD, BUT CONTINUALLY BE TRANSFORMED BY THE RENEWING OF YOUR MINDS SO THAT YOU MAY BE ABLE TO DETERMINE WHAT GOD'S WILL IS--WHAT IS PROPER, PLEASING, AND PERFECT."

That's exatly what i know you was going to say humble servant. I could tell that you did not understand what these guys are doing. and I made you say that so I could help you. I just figure out the problem and i'm glad. You see, we are having this argument just because we don't understand each other. You are right and they are right but the problem is our differences. In your point of view you see the guys are performing. And in their point of view they want the poeple of the world the hear the gospel; especially the ones who never go to church. Please humble, stop holding the guys for some of them are really doing this with all their strengh. It's the same thing as denomination. Jehova witness go houses to houses to preach the word of God. On the other hand, Baptist stay inside a building to preach the word of God. They are both doing the job in different ways. So please lage ti mesye yo pou yo vide levanjil la sou monden yo. Ou pa we yo telman powerfull menm T-vice tonbe ap kopye sou yo. You cannot stop somebody for doing the work of God no mather Who, Where and how.
